Les Miserables is about 1,500 pages long, but one can get the book shortened to 1000 pages or even about 500 pages. A person can miss a lot of good parts in the book because of shortened pages. If a person wants to get the most out of Les Miserables, read the long version. My school is reading the shorter version because of time restrictions. Hope this helped. I don't know where to get the different versions, though.
