Giod only knows, but it goes beyond injury. Christmas Trees- which are a mass of DEAD organic matter, are a huge and often uncontrollable fire hazard- every year there are Fatal fires involving the foolish old Tannenbaum. Fire officials are not even in agreement as how to best forestall the forested Fire hazards- the idea of having the tree in a sort of attenuated water barrel or bucket was long touted. If it catches fire, the thing escalates into an uncontrollable mass, may fall over, issue tons of smoke and block fire exits- like stairways. Really, do we need this humungous fire hazard?

Over 2.3 billion trees were planted in America last year. I'm not sure, but I think most of them were replanted by forest/logging companies.

Most injuries in tornadoes are the result of flying or falling debris caught up in the winds of a tornado. Some people are killed or injured by falling trees or collapsing buildings. In less common cases people may be picked up and thrown.
