2million a year
According to UNAIDS, the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 2.8million (between 2.4 and 3.3 million) lives in 2005 of which morethan half a million (570,000) were children. …. It should however be noted that this is only an estimate. Andthat obtaining accurate figures is complicated by severalfactors: . People do not die of AIDS as such - they die of the diseasesthat AIDS has made them vulnerable to. Therefore, the cause ofdeath is very often not given as AIDS or AIDS-related. . Diagnosing a death as AIDS related relies on the person havingbeen diagnosed as HIV-positive .. a diagnosis that has often notbeen made in a resource-limited setting. . With advances in medicine, AIDS is "greying". Instead of dieingfrom AIDS-related conditions, people who were living with AIDS areincreasingly dieing of old age. . In order to spare the feelings of relatives (and to protectthem from the stigma of being associated with AIDS) official causesof death are frequently recorded in a vague manner.
When you are HIV positive your life will continue as usual. You just have to live your life with GOD. Pray always and live correctly.
According to an article by the North-South Institute on HIV/AIDS and Development, somewhere between five and six people die per minute from aids.
That is not known to man. We know aproximately how many are getting infected with HIV and how many dies from AIDS. Here are some data from UNAIDS: Number of people living… with HIV in 2006: 39,5 millions (34,1-47,1) Infected in 2006: 4,3 millions (3,6-5,7) AIDS death in 2006: 2,9 millions (2,5-3,5)
Every 3 seconds a child dies in Africa from AIDs.
The number of deaths of persons with an AIDS diagnosis has stabilised in recent years at around 17,000-18,000 per year." So that means about 46-49 people die every day (assumi…ng a 365-day year). In related statistics, about 154 people a day in the US are infected (again, assuming a 365-day year), or over six people every single hour.
Over 3 million people
This is a difficult statistic to provide, as some African countries to not track or do not provide HIV and AIDS statistics. According to UNICEF, South Africa was home to …280,000 children under 14 years of age living with AIDS in South Africa in 2007. That is one country out of dozens. The number of children with AIDS in Africa and the number who die every day is a staggering amount.
\n. \nsomewhere between 200 and 300 people die per minute from AIDS
154 are infected daily in the USA
Based on yearly averages, it would be about 5 per day.
10 to 15 I've no idea which is correct, but I checked the site Avert.org - huge site dedicated to AIDS, with all sorts of info and all sorts of stats, and they have it at 4…0 a day. The site is http://www.avert.org/aids-statistics.htm - they claim to be the world's most popular AIDS site, n have stories, info on history and science, stats on everything you can imagine, question and help page, etc: basically anything you can think of related to AIDS info and stats, and they are a charity n take donations to help AIDS patients evidently. The following is copied/pasted from them: "Since 2000 the annual numbers of AIDS diagnoses have been relatively constant, with an estimated 37,041 in 2006. In total, an estimated 1,051,875 people have been diagnosed with AIDS in America. The death rate among people with AIDS has also remained relatively stable in recent years; there were an estimated 14,561 deaths in 2007. Since the beginning of the epidemic, an estimated 583,298 people with AIDS have died in the USA."
Their are 40million died from HIV/AIDS in LEDC's.
