You can do so many things to prevent the disease. But the most impossible thing is to teach the hygiene practices to a crawling baby or say a baby smaller than three years of age. thankfully the disease is not problematic one in younger children. You can teach hygiene to older children. Washing the hands with soap and water before taking food and after defecation goes a long way in prevention of the disease. Children should be taught about not kissing each other in mouth. Also they should not use the same pot to drink the water.
