As of January 2013, there are approximately 63,000 personnel with SOCOM, however, not all of these are operators. Some are support or command personnel. This number includes all 5 sub-commands:
USASOC (Army) - 28,500
NAVSPECWARCOM (Navy) - 8,900
AFSOC (Air Force) - 18,000
MARSOC (Marines) - 2,600
JSOC (Joint Tier 1) - Classified, probably about 4000-6000.
