∙ 9y agoFrom the third quarter of 2007 to the third quarter of 2014, Apple has sold just over 551 million iPhones. iPhone sales jumped from around 20 million per quarter throughout 2011 to 37.04 million iPhones sold in the first quarter of 2012. The end of 2012 dipped back down to around 25 million iPhones sold per quarter, then jumped upto 47.79 million sold in Q1 of 2013. Their biggest quarter to date, Q1 of 2014, saw 51.03 million iPhones sold. Apple reached the milestone of 500 million iPhones sold following 2014's Q2.
