I would say the most popular places to visit in Washington State would be the Space Needle, San Juan Islands, and Mount St Helens, Seattle, tacoma, and Olympia.
Art and music are readily available and lunch at the Space Needle ranks high on many viisitors lists. A visit to the Pike Place Market, Olympic Sculpture Park and the Seattle Waterfront are free and worth the visit.
