It really depends on your camera and it's settings. The lower the resolution, and the higher the compression setting, the more pictures will fit on your card. That aside, the range is very large; it will fit between 1,200 and 62,000 depending on your setup. Pretty dramatic huh. And actually, if you were shooting on a Digital SLR or even on the new Canon Powershot G10, while shooting in RAW mode, it could be as little as 300 pictures. So as you can see, without details, it's hard to be precise in my answer.
The related link gives information on the maximum number of photos at varying megapixel ratings / varying image file size and for varying memory card capacities and may be of use.
When it comes to determining how many photos, songs, applications, or messages can be stored on a cellular phone or other electronic device, there is no set number. All files have a different file size, thus affecting how many files can be stored on that particular device. If talking about an iPhone or iPod, the amount of space available for photos varies considerably, especially if many applications are installed. The same goes if there is a lot of music on the device.
Many times, a manufacturer will state how much of a particular item the device will hold. What they don't say, however, is certain factors (such as those stated above) will greatly vary the available storage space. The best example would be an iPhone that has several large games on it. Those games may use 2GB of storage space, thus reducing the available space for other things.
For a 12 megapixel camera, an 8GB card is capable of storing around 1500 photos.
600
About 800 I think.
o.2 mp is the quality of the camera not memory, memory is stuff like 8gb and 1tb
This can depend on the memory of your iPhone, but a 8gb Iphone can hold 2000 songs. But again this could depend on the quality of the photos and length of the song
The most common uses of a SanDisk 8GB memory stick are storage of pictures, files and various documents. A SanDisk 8GB memory stick is designed for long term storage.
8 GB .
On an 8MB card you could probably get one or two pictures, however if you meant a 8GB card you should be able to store around 1300-1400 photos.
as much as 8GB
Sandisk offers a 8GB memory card that stores up to 6000 pictures as well as several high def videos for additional uses. This is great for a person who takes a lot of pictures.
Around 15,000, 4gb - 1540 8gb - 3080 16gb - 6160 32gb - 12320 64gb - 25000 (approx)
About 42,000
Its one of those things you'll just have to find out. 8G memory holds enough of any kind of media for a mobile phone.
noting above a 8gb because these memory cards will and i mean WILL malfunction and if you have a large memcard with allot of pictures on it you could lose all of the pictures on the camera
