The prefix M (mega) is equivalent to 10^6 (one million). 1 megapixel = 1*10^6 = 1000000 pixels 800000 pixels = 800000/10^6 = 0.8 megapixels
This all depends on the camera of the phone in question. Some 'phones have no camera.
