I'm assuming you mean "how many representatives does each state have", and I'm also assuming you mean in the US Congress. The number of Representatives, or "Congressmen" from each state varies by population - the more populous you are, the more Reps you get. Delaware has, I belive, just one, maybe two. California, New York, Florida, etc, have a bunch more. This is different than in the Senate, where every state has TWO senators. Thus, there is part of the government where every one gets an equal say, and part where the bigger you are, the more power you have.

There are 435 members of the US House. How many come from each state depends on the population of the state. Texas has 32, Utah has 3. The greater the population relative to other states, the greater the number of Reps each state gets. And, number of Reps is redistributed every 10 years, based on the census. In contrast, each state gets 2 US Senators, regardless of state population.
