Anyway, if you read the original, untranslated, bible you might realise that it might not have meant rib bone but 'male organ*' bone. Which explains the scar along the bottom of said organ.

All agree that, based on medical research (somebody actually dissected cadavers and counted ribs, somebody actually looked at x-rays and counted ribs), men and women have the same number of ribs as each other. Twelve pairs of flexible, arch-like ribs form the lateral portions of the thoracic cage.

∙ 14y agoI am a woman with 13 pairs of ribs. It was discovered recently when I was having x-rays after a car accident. It is a genetic abnormality that is often accompanied by an incomplete esophagus, which I had as a child. Other than also growing a complete third set of teeth when I was 15, I have no other known health problems. My body looks completely normal.
