He had two sisters who survived to adulthood, the oldest being Margaret Tudor (1489 - 1541), who married James IV of Scotland, and was the grandmother of Mary, Queen of Scots.

His youngest sister was Princess Mary Rose Tudor (1496 - 1533), who was apparently much favoured. The warship Mary Rose was named after her. She was married twice, first to the King Louis XII of France, and then, when widowed, to Henry's best friend, Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk. They were the grandparents of Lady Jane Grey, the "nine days queen".

Here is a list of all the siblings of Henry VIII (1491 - 1547):

· Arthur, Prince of Wales (1486 - 1502)

· Margaret Tudor (1489 - 1541)

· Henry - later Henry VIII (1491 - 1547)

· Elizabeth Tudor (1492 - 1495)

· Mary Rose Tudor (1496 - 1533)

· Edmund, Duke of Somerset (1499 - 1500)

· Katherine Tudor (born & died on 2 Feb 1503)
