It isn't really known how large the Universe is. In the so-called "observable Universe", as a rough estimate, there are 10 to the power 11 galaxies, each of which on average has about 10 to the power 11 stars, so that gives you 10 to the power 22 stars.Light from anything outside the "observable Universe" can never reach us; anyway, it is estimated that the Universe is thousands of times larger than the observable part; it may be infinite in size, but that is not currently known for sure.

(Update: 10 to the power 22 means a 1, followed by 22 zeros.)

Very close to the center of it.

There are a grand total of one star in our solar system. We call it the Sun. It is so

near the center of the solar system that the center of the solar system is inside it.

Actually you can see at least three galaxies (the Andromeda galaxy; the Large Magellanic Cloud; the Small Magellanic Cloud) with the naked eye from Earth, without having to go into outer space.

The Earth is about 93,000,000 miles from the Earth whereas the nearest star, after our Sun is about 24,690,000,000,000 miles away.

To put that into perspective, if the Sun was just an inch from Earth, the next star would be 4 miles away. Sirius would be 8 miles way, whereas Betelgeuse would be 600 miles away. (The lenght of the UK).

The furthest star that we know of, would be 14 billion miles away or 600,000 times around the Earth.

It's believed that there are over 100 thousand million stars in our galaxy alone. Considering that there are millions of galaxies in the known universe, this question has stumped scientists for a long time. But one estimate is about 10 to the power of 24 stars, or at least 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars.

Our star is located in the center of the Solar System.

Many other stars are located all over the Universe.

add. Our Milky Way Galaxy is about 100 000 light years across, and is a barred galaxy (a bar of stars across the centre) with (4?) spiral arms.

Our arm is the Orion Arm, and the Sun is about 25 000 light years from the galaxy's centre. The Sun's path around the galaxy has a speed of about 220km/s.

Our galaxy has about 200 x 109 stars.

It is called "the solar system". When there is only one of a thing, you don't need fancy names for it.

It has only been in the past 100 years or so that most people came to understand that our Sun is just an average star, that it looks so big and bright only because it's so close. And only in the past 20 years have we known that there were planets orbiting other stars.

Eventually, we will need to come up with better terminology, but so far, only Science Fiction writers have needed to worry about that.

They are all around us. The nearest star system, Rigil Kentaurus, is at a distance of 4.3 light years; there are other nearby stars that are only slightly farther away.

In clumps that are themselves unevenly distributed in space.

-Stars are not uniformly distributed through space. You can see this for yourself to some extent by looking outside at night. If you live where you can see what the night sky really looks like, you would notice that certain areas of the sky have more stars than other areas. On the largest scales, a map of the universe looks a bit like cotton candy. The universe is filled with clusters of galaxies that stream around huge, bubble-like voids.

Stars are located in Galaxies.

Stars are not scattered randomly through space, they are gathered together into vast groups known as galaxies.

How can Hubble Telescope work if stars aren't visible in outer space?

One of your premises is incorrect. Stars are visible in outer space. Photographs in outer space sometimes do not show the stars due to other sources of light or the camera type, but you can actually see stars more easily because there is no atmosphere.
