Officially about 2150 hours a year, but actually if you would to compare this figure to other world stations it's more likely on a 2000 hours a year that you really have to base on. That's not so much if you compare to the rest of the world but for this kind of climate (the oceanic one), it's not so bad at all !

According to bestplaces.net Seattle averages 152 non rainy days per year. Couldn't find a mention of sunny days on their site. They only show number of days with precipitation, which is between 210 and 285 depending on whether you are at Sea-Tac or Portage Bay.

According to Komo News weatherman Steve Pool (Seattle weather personality) the average is 58.

In Leavenworth Washington, it is very close to Forks, Washington. This is where Bella and Edward like to f each other up, and since there are vampires there, no sun is in there. It is always cloudy.
