How many tattoo's does Avril Lavigne have?

Avril Lavigne has many tattoos, all of which she described as "spur of the moment." Because of this, it's hard to know when she got them. They are all small.

1. Star - Her first tattoo was a star on the inside of her left wrist.

2. D - On the side of her left wrist, she has the initial "D" inside a pink heart. It is "matching" with her ex-husband Deryk Whibley, who got a "A" in the same spot.

3. Music Note - This tattoo is right under the 'd' tattoo.

4. 30 - She got this matching tattoo in March 2010 with Deryk, even though they had already filed for divorce. It was for his 30th birthday.

5. Lightning Bolt - In April 2010, Avril got the matching tattoo with boyfriend Brody Jenner, right under the 30 tattoo.

6. Star - She got the tattoo in April 2008, as a matching one with friend Allie. It was originally blue with a black outline, but she later filled it in black. It is on the inside of her right elbow.

7. XXV - Avril got this matching tattoo with Brody Jenner when she was twenty-five. It is by the star tattoo in her right elbow.

8. Abbey Dawn - It's on the inside of her left elbow, and is her childhood nickname and clothing line title.

9. Brody - In July 2010, Avril had Brody's name tattooed on her right ribcage. He got Avril inside his elbow.

10. F*ck - Avril and Brody got this tattoo on their left ribcages in May 2010. Avril says it is her favorite word.

11. Stars - Avril has two outlines of stars on her left hip.

12. Star - Avril has a small star tattoo on her right shoulder blade. She has yet another star on her left leg, which is blue outlined in black.

13. Safety Pin - In March 2011, she got a safety pin tattooed on the side of her neck. She tweeted, "It comes in handy all the time, it can hurt you, but at the same time keep you together, safety first!"

She also wants to get what she calls a "big-*ss-motherf*cking tattoo" on her forearm. It would be a "big-*ss heart with a flag through it with a name." But she wants to wait a few years and see if she still wants it.
