Yes, my wood ducks (male and female) are all almost 4 years old. Only one female lays eggs at my house though. She has laid 3 batches of eggs this year. Her last batch laid and hatched were in the fall. All batches had at least 10-16 eggs each batch. This may be because I always have a pile of rolled corn out for all of the ducks to eat, and a spot that she likes to lay her eggs. Also, I raised my ducks from babies, so they might be healthier than most wild ducks. Hope this helped!
Tip - If you are raising them, make sure you feed them un-medicated food. Give the mom some rolled corn, or any other variety of duck food.
Mallard females lay one egg a day. They can lay up to 12 eggs in the nest, the eggs remain dormant until the female has finished laying, she then sits on them to incubate the eggs. It can take about three weeks for the eggs to hatch, this way, all the ducklings hatch within hours of each other, and are ready to follow the mother as a group.
No they don't. They are never far away though. I live on the water and have the opportunity to watch a female as she sits on her eggs every year. She sits and sits and sits, but she also leaves to eat and drink. If she senses danger to herself, she will also leave the nest. When the incubation period is nearing, a male mallard also sits nearby. I don't know if this is the norm, but it happens every year. It's great!

Mallard ducks will lay and sit on about 8-15 eggs per year If you are collecting the eggs, ducks will lay over 100 eggs each year.

Nope, all ducks, geese, chickens, guineas and soforth are birds. Mammals have fur, usually, and don't lay eggs. (The Platypus and Echidna are one exception.)
according to my study of mallard ducks this is impossible because mallard ducks are all BOYS! By ID1281088566 Ignore ID1281088566, he doesn't know what he's talking about. One of my mallard hens started laying at about 6 months old, in October. They usually don't lay until spring, and I'm sure this hen won't actually hatch a brood until then.
It should do! Mallard Ducks lay a few eggs every year around 1-7 or even 8! Just take your duck to the vet if it lays one , unhealthy egg!
Ducks lay their eggs on a nest, whether it be in a tree or out on the open ground.
They are the most common type of ducks and really interesting. Mallard ducks also behave like any other birds, building cup-like nests made up of grass and leaves. Female mallard ducks usually lay around five to fourteen greenish-white eggs in each clutch, and it's the female mallard that takes care of their ducklings.

Yea it just takes them a longer time than chickens to lay eggs
The only thing that ducks can lay are other ducks
