Meat can be reheated several times but it is recommended to be reheated once. However, each time it is reheated bacteria will grow, and should be reheated at 165 degrees or higher to kill most of the bacteria.

It depends on what is your purpose and what kind of food are you heating up. Personally I would not suggest you to do that, because heating up food or anything is basically distroying the structure (bondings) of that material. Such as, when you eat a fresh made chicken, the meat is juicy and soft. But when you reheated that same chicken the next day, the meat will become dry and harder to bite. Although you might think that it is because there is no water so the meat is dry. However, the other thing is because the inner structure of the meat is damaged so moisture can hardly be holded within the meat. As a result, dry and hard to bite meat. Hope help... please point out anything that is incorrect. thx

Only reheat leftovers once, and within a couple of days. Also, smell it first. If it's at all unpleasant, avoid it.

How do you pan fry chicken and then heat it up in an oven without making the chicken tough?

Two things: first, reheat it on medium/low heat in the oven; nothing over 275. Second, make sure your reheat it in a covered pan to keep the moisture in. If you limit the reheat time (10 minutes or so), it won't get tough.

Do you reheat frozen roasted chickens whole or cut up?

Reheating frozen roasted chickens by cutting them up first is easier than reheating a whole chicken. If you reheat a whole chicken, it may dry out from being in the oven for so long. You can reheat cut up pieces at a high temperature for a short period of time which prevents them from drying out.

can you reheat chicken that was left in oven overnight?

No, you shouldn't eat chicken that was unrefrigerated overnight. It has had time for bacteria to grow and could make you very sick.
