The average person tends to blink between 10 and 30 times per minute.

Therefore, taking an average of 20 blinks per minute, this would mean 1200 blinks per hour (20 x 60) and lets say the average person is awake for 14 hours a day (we don't blink in our sleep) then on average we blink 16,800 (1200 x14) times a day!

There's blinking and there's blinking.

Some people can fake blink which means that would put up their blinking number. People are all different. Like an adult may blink more than a five year old child.

That means it's not an easy question. I did some research. I got a three year old child, a seven year old and a seven teen year old child. I checked their rate of blinking every hour. Then I got four adults and chekced their rate of blinking.

I discovered that the average person blinks 20,000-28,000 times a day.

It is estimated that the average human being blinks around 1,000 times a day, however most humans blink without having the need to. (fake blinking) This lowers the rate of the actual estimated quantity. Of blinks in a day.

You blink about every five seconds so 60 multiplyed by 5 is 320 and 320 multiplyed by 24 is 7680. So, you blink about 7,680 times a day
