Actually, the only reference to ANYTHING close to god is in the Signatory section where it is dated and says "Seventeenth Day of September in the year of our lord, one thousand seven hundred eight seven"
"God" does not appear in the constitution once. The only two references to religion include the right to practice ones own religion (as long as it does not infringe on any one else's constitutional rights; as with all rights outlined in the constitution) and the prohibition of religious tests for possible office holders.
Even though the framers of the U.S. Constitution were white, protestant, wealthy men they were careful not to mention "God" or his supposed wishes.

I am not certain why so many sites answer this question with a "zero." That is only true if you entirely omit the appendix of the Constitution, penned at the same time by the same men. Both "God" (directly written) and as our Creator are plainly spelled out in the appendix.
