In the United kingdom there around four main types of crabs. The common shore crab also known as the Green crab is often consumed by people along with a crab called the Edible Crab. The Velvet Fiddler, sometimes called the Velvet Swimmer can be used for bait. Also, present along British shores is the Hermit crab.
