There is well over 1,000 volcano's in Arizona. In Northern Arizona alone there are more then 600 cinder cones, 7 lava domes, and one strata-volcano. In the San Francisco Volcanic Field. Each cinder cone is a distinct volcano then the next. Throughout the state of Arizona there are hundreds of other volcano's Including another very large one called the Springerville Volcanic field, which has over 400 vents.

There has not been an eruption in Arizona in over 1,000 years. So, no there are no active volcanoes in Arizona. There also has been no seismic activity on any Arizona volcano, making all volcano's in Arizona possibly extinct. The only one that could erupt is Sunset Crater, but it is presumably extinct.

In theory a volcano could occur anywhere, but generally they occur along fault lines and subduction zones - and since Arizona doesn't really fall into either category it is rather unlikely
