It depends on how long your steps are and on the person. I think it's about 2000 walking and 1400 jogging. There's an old Roman Empire army trick to calculating how long the soldiers would travel. What the Romans would do was walk normally (or in there case insynch as they are in an army...one of the greatest) and everytime there left foot (or right) touched the ground they would count one. Once 1000 was reached, they would count it as a mile. I've done this many times and my friends and i checked it and it was almost exact.
Learned this in Social Studies class.
Who would of thought school actually teaches something?
depends on how long your footspan is

It actually depends on the person walking. One step is almost equal to 1 meter. 1 mile = 1.61 km. So we can say that a person has to take about 1,610 steps to complete a mile.
About 2,112 military (30 inch) steps.
bernards&&aggies
you have about 900 steps in a mile
This depends...If you have longer legs you can take less steps to complete a mile. It all depends on your stride. A stride is how many feet or inches you walk each time you take a step. Shorter or younger people take smaller strides than taller people.If you have a standard 30" military stride, then there are about 2,112 steps in a mile.
not sure how wide your steps are.... there are 5280 feet in a mile so if your stride is 1 foot....there would be 5280 steps in ur mile...
"how big are the steps?" There are 5280 feet in a mile so you would find how many feet your steps are and then take that number and 5280/"size of step"
332 steps
It would take about 16.666... minutes because about 2000 steps are in a mile.
That depends on how big they were but it isn't any different than how many it would take you to walk a mile.
1,760 steps.
Because a mile has 63,360 inches, you would just divide 63,360 by 29.
5,280
Depends how long the steps are.
