There were , of course such things as accidents on transports- and transportation- in other service branches- and accidental; ( one hopes) casulaties involving medical staff such as Nurses- who are non-combatants- Red Cross armbands, etc. it is hard to say how many total female casualties were in War II, but there were 43 among the Wasps.
