Since these resources are limited, and the production and distribution of such energy is harmful to the environment in the general case, technology itself damages the environment, therefore. * Modern technology typically uses harmful processes in production, for example, highly toxic and acidry processes are involved in the making of computer chips, etc. * Modern technology typically has a finite lifetime, leaving behind toxic waste, slowly degrading plastics, etc. * Technology in general changes the environment. Rarely for the better, and often for the worse, thus damaging the environment. This includes the building of river dams, the straightening of rivers, or simply the building of roads.

technology means innovations or making of many digital devices.This way technolgy affects the environment as for the making of the materials such as silicon iron neon etc. used in the making of these digital devices,machinery,etc. will harm the environment as it will bo later manufactured on a large scale worldwide.so,the quantity of raw material needed will be increased and to fulfil this quantity raw material will be obtained from nature causing the degradation of soil as it will poor in minerals.also,when these digital things will be made then the burning of fossil fuels will increase causins pollution and the factories making these devices will also use energy and release pollution due to unburnt carbon patricles.Now you may understand that how technology affect the environment.

The concern with technology is that it's affecting the environment in ways the environment hasn't been affected before, and to a much greater extent than it's been affected before.

There is, in my viewpoint, probably not anything intrinsically wrong with technology per-se, but people need to undertake an understanding of how to live with the rest of the natural world on a smarter give-and-take basis, rather than the current extremes of either ignoring the effects of technology on the planet (as is generally done now) or going on a holistic freakout (which could make things worse).

Technology in theory has no direct impact to the environment, as technology is simply the tools we create to simplify tasks. Technology's environmental impact lies in the methods we use to create these tools (for example using non renewable energy sources to manufacture the technology), what the techology is made of (plastics vs bio degradable materials), and what the direct purpose of the technology is (the automobile's purpose is to continue burning fossil fuels for the purpose of travel). The later can have a net positive effect however, if the technology's purpose is to assist the environment (for example wind turbine technology, solar panel technology, bio fuel technology, etc...).

In short, technology has no effect on the environment, it is how and with what materials we produce and use technology that has an effect.
* The development of many modern machines has led to air pollution. this leads to poor air quality. * Better technology can helps us study and better understand how we are affecting the environment. * Advancements in things that require fossil fuels reduces the amount we have, and if burned, emits carbon dioxide into the air. * Advancements in other exploitation techniques can also get rid of things such as forests, aquifers, and other Natural Resources that we need. Technology such as the invention of vehicles, air-conditioning and other advanced gadgets have caused air pollution. Carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are released into the air, causing global warming. Industrialization have also contributed to much of these.
