Well if you haven't downloaded the Official Client from Jagex Runescape site, then it should take up around 2 -5MB, 10MB at max. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BETTER ANSWER: Besides the client, the game runescape uses part of your hard drive memory for cache, in other words, a cache is a temporary storage area where frequently accessed data can be stored for rapid access, this usually takes up about 86 to 90 MB.
This question has been asked numerous times, and the same answer as always, runescape doesn't take any MB's mainly because there is no downloads, unless you download the client of course, in that case 2 MB maximum...
Runescape is not a high operating game like minecraft or Runescape. The previous answer of 250 MB is wrong. I've researched on many different sites and found out that Runescape needs around 750mb which is more than enough for windows7 computers which for a 64bit is developed to have 4GB.
However, If you feel that is not enough for your computer to handle you should open task manager (CTRL+DEL+ALT) and go to processors and delete the programs you do not need(Be careful!) or open run and go to msconfig.exe then startup then clear all the programs you don't need again. If you still feel you haven't got many memory do a disk clean up(right click computer), this will erase all your history your computer has saved like: offline pages, recycle bin etc..
Hoped I helped! =D
not much a computer/laptop brand new in the past 5 years will be able to play runescape on it takes around 100mb - 200mb of ram when there is alot of ip's coming into the jagex server.
you also need java 6 + installed on your PC to play runescape.
it only uses temporary internet files and stores them in a file called Jagex cache, which are erased everytime you clean your cookies or temporary internet files.
It usually stores a 150MB odd cache file when you play, this happens upon loading the clients even on the internet.
not alot, actually, the cache file only takes up about 50mb.
None, but the program used to run it (Java) uses way less than a gb.
