My doctor told me that no more then four Tylenol a day. If that doesn't help then he said he could give me something else. Ask your doctor, it's different for everyone.

The normal dosage on the bottle of tylenol is safe. Tylenol is okay to take during pregnancy, however ibufrofen, nuprin, and asprin are not. As long as you dont take more tylenol then directed to from on the bottle, you and your baby will be fine.

Tylenol is approved for pregnancy, it is reccomended to take only when needed and to follow the dosage instructions. The maxium reccomended dosage per day is 4g, which is 2 500mg tables taken every 4-6 hours for a total of 8 tablets per day.
Ibuprofen is discouraged during pregnancy, specifically during the 3rd trimester. A related drug Indomethicin has been show to cause heart problems in a small amount of babies in the thrid trimester, there are not cases of Ibuprofen doing this, however since they are in the same family of drug, it is not reccomended to take it.
