i have read about this topic, and it seems about a quarter cup can be lethal. If it spills, wash it away with water, and hose off if possible.
Actually it depends on the size of the dog. My dog recently died due to antifreeze, he was a 90+ pound Lab. He would have needed at least a cup of antifreeze to cause damage to his kidneys and kill him. The smaller the animal the smaller the amount of poison. If your pet consumes a small amount you may have a chance to bring him to the vet and save him or her.
how much antifreeze is needed to kill a dog
Yes, it certainly can. Avoid giving your dog anti-freeze as a drink.
Antifreeze can kill animals only by consumption, if it is a larger animal it will take allot for it to die. if it is smaller it wont take that much
Antifreeze is a poison. It can kill you.
YES of course. Why would a person drink antifreeze? If a dog or cat accidently drink enough antifreeze, they would suffer from kidney failure and die.
2 to 4 ozs. by comparison 1teaspoon can kill a cat.
do not kill your dog please take it to the vets.
you should take them to a vet ASAP or it possibly could it depends on what the size of the dog is and how old
it would take about 1 tablespoon

Not very much, and it kills by rotting your liver, a very unpleasant way to die slowly.
