∙ 12y agoFruit should be limited in a rabbit's diet because too much can lead to illness. The House Rabbit Society advises no more than 2 tablespoons of fruit a day (or sugary veg, like carrot) for a normal, healthy adult 6 pound rabbit. ∙ 12y agoAssuming the rabbit is healthy, and eating a balanced diet of mostly hay, with some high-quality pellets and fresh greens daily, and plenty of water, a bite or two of apple every couple of days shouldn't cause any problems.
