Please check your coin again. It's either not 1941 or not Ben Franklin. Half dollars dated 1916 to 1947 carry the Walking Liberty design. Franklin's picture was on the half dollar from 1948 to 1963.
The coin is a quarter, just like it says on the back, not a "quater".
Its current retail value is in the $3 to $5 range depending on mint mark and condition.
With a date of 1941, it's a common Washington quarter, most are valued only for the silver, about $5.00.
Here is a website that allows you to compare the value of todays dollar from 1790 through 2007 in severeal different ways. http://eh.net/hmit/
one quarter of a dollar or 25 cents. If it is a coin minted before 1964, it is made of actual silver (or a percentage) and is probably worth more as a collectable coin. How much depends on what year, what mint mark, and its condition.
The US never minted a $2 coin. But they did mint quarter eagles ($2.5)
When I was there the nearest coin to a quarter was a two shilling coin, which had a value of about 28 cents (American) but that was a few years ago.MoreIt depends on the definition of "a few" years, lol. Bermuda has used its own dollar currency since 1970. Before that they used British shillings and pounds, but when Britain adopted decimal pounds Bermuda converted its currency to dollars pegged to the US dollar. The coins are the same size and value as US coins and exchange one-for-one, so a Bermudan quarter is worth the same as a US quarter.
That means 1/4 of a dollar, 0.25 dollars, or 25 cents.
In the year 2000, the value of the quarter dollar which is 25 cents was $0.25.
No, a quarter is a different coin, and its value is only a quarter (1/4) of a regular dollar.
A 1967 Washington quarter has no silver and is face value.
It's just a quarter spend it
1930 was the last year for a Standing Liberty quarter, with a date of 1941 it's a Washington quarter. Post new question.
