In varies by country, use, and purpose. In Egypt for example, only declared $10000 US dollars is allowed for a passenger entering the country.
300000000000
The limit is $10,000 as far as I know, if you are going to the Philippines. Expect someone would ask you at the airport, how much cash you are bringing . As far as laws are concern theres nothing that I know of.
Amounts of more than AUD10,000 in cash (not traveler's cheques or bank drafts) must be reported to Australian Customs when carried into or out of Australia.
According to the TSA, you can travel with any amount of cash legally. If you travel with more than $10,000 however, you must declare it to customs.
Maybe as much as you want, but if you want to spend it, wherever you're going, you'll have to convert that money to lets say for example, Canadian money. $1.00 is worth 44 pesos in the Philippines.
As much as you like but any amount over 10,000 NZD (about US $6500) must be declared to customs or face potential confiscation of the money.
You can transfer any amount you like from one account to the other - you're only limited to physically carrying cash through customs. It's the same in most countries - electronic transfers create a 'paper trail' so the cash can be traced to its source. Carrying large amounts of cash without proof of its origin - will get you interrogated !
I have gone to the Philippines several times. Before they let off the plane, they give you a form to fill out saying how much cash you wish to "declare." On the form that i read it clearly stated that $10,000 was the maximum one could bring into the Philippines. I am not sure what happens to anything you might have over $10,000. Does the airline take it or does the Philippine government take it? I don't know. I don't think I want to find out...
From the UK outbound, £10.000 cash. no more unlesss you have authorised documents from customs
Oh yes. If the package is over 50.00 in value you pay a customs fee. What if the container contains cash? I would be careful on how much cash there is. The US government is interested in the amount of cash entering the country due to Homeland Security. Red flags are also raised if there is a large bank deposit that can't be accounted for .
1,620 PHP for economy class travellers. You also pay a 750 PHP airport tax. You pay only in CASH.
