How much did the first calculator cost? In: Computer History |
What an Investment
In the late 70's I worked at a credit union and the receptionist received a calculator for the front desk. It performed the basic functions of add; subtract; multiply; and divide. It was as large as the "C" volume of the World Book Encylopedia. As I recall the price for this calculator was over $500.00
