I got mines on sale for $40 at petsmart. We already had a glass aquarium, but im guessing about another $40 for a good sized cage. Maybe another $20-$30 for the aspen wood chips, hide hut, ect. Corn have to be fed outside of their cage, so if you do reach out to pick him up, your fingers dont look like a mouse, so a cheap $10 small transportation cage is what you want too....so, alltogether, approximatly $120. hope that helps!
Well they range. For a young corn snake like a baby its around £50 for a common morph and really you can go up and up and up, i would suggest spending around £65 you could get a very nice snake. Hope this helps!
Hi,
The cost of a corn snake is always different. If you get it at a pet store it usually does not cost as much as the ones at a reptile show or a place like that. I prefer ones that DO NOT come from a pet store. I got a baby corn snake for 20$, it died in 3 weeks. It may not always do that! I then got one from the reptile show and it has been alive for about 3 months now and he is doing great! The snakes at a reptile show or professional reptile store are usually about 45$ minimum. It also depends on how old the snake is. If its a baby its not as much. If its a full grown its a lot more.
Well, If Its about 3-5ft, About $5.00 For A Month Or So. That's About Two Mice. But, To Be Honest You Shouldn't Feed It More Than 3 Mice In One Month, Because It Takes Two Or Three Weeks For The Snakes Food To Digest.
Hope That Helpeded,! :] And, If Any More Information About Reptiles Is Needed Feel Free To e-mail Me At Ruri-@hotmail.com I'd Be Happy To Help d:
It depends on (a) the country you live in, and (b) where you get it from. Here in the UK, there are plenty of reptile breeders - corn snake babies sell for around £40 (for JUST the snake) from a reptile shop - or around £25 from a private breeder.
You don't say where you are but - in the UK a typical 'starter kit' including a baby corn snake would be around £150.
free if u caught one but if u get one wild then there is a chance that it wont eat but usaully $25 but there not that good of pets buy a chain king snake
Some times up to 15-100 only 100 if it is rare don't bye then a pet stores becous they die. Bye then at reptile shows they are cheap to
Depending on the morph of the snake. They start anywhere from $60 and go to $4,000
around $40
$50 - $100 is a fairly reasonable price range for an albino corn snake.
A corn snake's bit hurts somewhat but not very much.
Not necessarily. The term chicken snake can refer to several species of snake. The corn snake is one of them.
medium corn snake:sub adult , adult corn snake:adult
It depends really on how much it eats, and what type of corn snake it is. As an example - I have adult Corn snakes in my collection - that measure 5 inches around their body (circumference not diameter !)
yes a hatchling corn snake can go in a vivarium with an adult corn snake but only if the adult corn is very tame and feed well and there needs to be lots of hiding places for the hatchling corn snake to hide about 5 hides
The length of a Corn snake can be up to 72 inches.
I wouldn't recommend it ! Although they are both from the same country (and similar habitats) the Pine Snake grows MUCH bigger than the Corn Snake, and therefore represents the danger of crushing the Corn Snake, if it lays on top of it..
No - metamorphosis means changing from one form to another. A corn snake at birth will be the same snake when it dies - except it will be much larger.
Rat snakes are generally black whereas corn snakes are orangey yellowy and look like ground up corn.
Newly-hatched corn snakes are approximately 6 inches (15cm).
Ask around on Kingsnake.com or a corn snake forum.
