The report of the Senior Salaries Review Body (SSRB), published on 01 March 2007, recommended an increase averaging 2.4% for judicial salaries (though the recommendation for office holders in Group 6.2 was a little lower than the average, at around 2%). The increases proposed by the Review Body are to be paid in two stages. This first instalment, which will be 1.5% in every case, will be paid with effect from 1 April 2007, and the balance of the recommended amount will be paid from 1 November 2007. The revised rates of remuneration arising from this are set out below.
