A horses height doesn't really affect it's weight as much as other factors including sex, age, work level, amount it is fed daily, and to a certain degree breed. A warmblood tends to be a bit heavier than another horse of comparable height with the exception of a draft horse. To get the horses accurate weight you'll need a piece of paper, a pencil, a flexible seamstresses tape, and a calculator. Now wrap the tape around the horses girth and write down that measurement, Next measure the horse from point of shoulder to point of buttock and write that number down, Finally do the following math equation to get your horses weight in pounds. Girth x Girth x Length divide by 330 = weight in pounds.
