The weight of a bushel of clams will vary depending on the size of the clams, since the size affects how much they weigh and how many will fit into a bushel basket. The range for the weight of a bushel of clams is between 35 and 55 pounds.

A bushel of oysters is generally around 60 oysters. Oysters may be sold by the bushel, but are generally sold by the pound. Price per pound varies based on your location, the type of oyster, and current market conditions.
