Depends. You can get them for thousands of dollars at a breeder/pet store; or you can go to you local shelter or Papillon rescue and get if for a few hundred if not less. You also save a life!!!
It depends on the breeder, of course. I just got a papillon puppy from a breeder. In my search I saw all kinds of prices. $650, $900, $1200 (most common), $1500 and $1800. The prices seem to go up depending on the quality of the dog. That is, breeders with many champion show dogs in the lines charge more, even for a pet/companion. You can usually get an adult papillon from a breeder for less. I've seen $700,$900 and $1000. These are usually b!tches that are former champions. With an adult you already know the temperament and what the dog will look like.
Show dogs can cost $2500 or more have there are usually a stipulation that either the breeder co-owns the dog and/or will get pick of the b!tch's litter.
I will say that you don't want to bargain shop for a purebreed dog. If you can't spend a lot, rescue a dog. If you penny-pinch, it's likely that the breeder didn't go the distance in terms of DNA testing and other measures to ensure the sire and dam were good breeding stock. This could result in heartbreak in the future if your dog has some serious genetic defect.
I truly believe "you get what you pay for".
between 300 600 for a puppy
and 100 300 for an adult
but if you keep searching you can get some lower prices
Well it depends on the place your buying it from. I bought my papillon puppy for at least 700 dollars. And he was on sale.
4-9 lbs.
No. They are very small. I have a papillion dog who's three years old and he is about 8 pounds. They are very small dogs and great for families
My papillon is almost four and he is 9 inches tall and 8 pounds

Papillon are very nice small dogs - apparently they are generally quiet and are not prone to barking.
Papillon - book - has 566 pages.
20 feet tall not including the tail which then makes them around the height of 79.826 feet tall
Yes, the Papillon is lively and playful. It generally has a high energy level and runs quickly in pursuit of other moving objects. These dogs should be provided with a daily walk.
This dog needs about and hour to two hours or romp and play, each day,(depending on age) older dogs don't need that much, but if you have a younger dog (not a puppy) needs about an hour and a half or play each day. older dogs should do fine with a daily walk aroung the block and some playtime with toys.
Well there are Papillon dogs with ears that stand up and that lay down. The breeding of Papillons is a mystery. You could breed to dogs with ears that stand up and get loppy eared ones. So your chances would be one out of two
The book "Papillon" by Henri Charrière has approximately 544 pages.
Papillons are in the 'Brightest Dogs' ranking, they are the 8th most intelligent breed.
butterfly is translated papillon in French.
