This is my estimate: Diapers - A large box of GOOD diapers costs about $20 and that usually lasts about 2 weeks. Formula - It depends on how old they are because the older they get, the more they eat but on average a 6 month old baby will go through 1-2 cans of the powder a week. The price also depends on the type of formula used. I'm going to estimate it to be between $15-$30 a week. Day Care - Usually about $70 - $80 a week for one child. Clothing - You wouldn't buy clothes every week. It's usually only when they grow out of them or when the season changes. That's a hard one to guess on a weekly basis. On average...a child costs at least $100 a week. They are not cheap, by far.
Answerjar food cost about 35 cents and jar and formula :powder cost 12 dollars a can and 4 dollars a can for concentrated, the ready to feed can is about 6 to 7 dollars and diapers cost anywhere from 12to 20 dollars depending on the different brands.

how much did a pack of diapers cost in 1999
Little Swimmers diapers cost about the same as regular diapers. If a box of regular diapers is $10, the Little Swimmers are about $12 for the same amount of diapers.
The cost of a pack of 124 Pampers Baby Dry Diapers (Newborn size) is approximately $26.00, and a baby uses about 10 diapers per day, on average. Therefore, the cost for a year of diapers would be approximately $765.
If you buy in bulk, diapers can average around $0.25 to $0.35 each. So six diapers will cost you $2-3 a day.
A price
depends on the size of the box and how many diapers are in the box
