It depends on where you choose to go. Getting bangs cut isn't too expensive, you could probably get it done under $10. Hair dye is cheap at a super market, but since black is a hard color to do, I wouldn't do that. Getting it done at a salon is around $40-$60. It seems expensive, but it's worth it. Black can go horribly wrong, so you should probably get a professional to do it right. And remember that you can't go to a lighter color right away. If you choose to dye it again, you'll have to go one shade lighter at a time until the black is gone.

Well, you could try cutting them shorter to a different style of bangs. If you would rather grow out your bangs, I would pin the side of your hair with the side bangs back (you can find many hair clips and pins that are low key, and not full of sparkles and meant for younger children), and let the other side of your hair hang down freely. If you curled your hair or made it wavy, it may be easier to hide the clip. Continue like this, and with time your bangs will grow out.

Hi! I believe the right term for full bangs are 'Japanese bangs' or so, that's what my hairstylist calls them. The Japanese cut is actually VERY HARD to pull off and believe me, trying to locate your bangs after taking a shower isn't a walk in the park either. I have Japanese bangs. My hairstyist left my hair straight and long and my bangs thin. If you have too much of a grab, then your bangs will look gross and frizzy. I'm not sure how old you are but bangs really don't work well or look to good on older generations. Japanese bangs look better on younger girls. Since you have a high forehead, I suggest getting piecy/choppy bangs. If you get pinpoint straigh ends, it might look weird. Have your hairstylist cut your hair in layers - shprter around your chin and gets longer at the back. It'll look trendier and not as childish.
