I had heard that the cashiers have a union and are paid decently. Having a strong cashiering and customer service background I had hoped for an interview for this sort of job.
The woman who interviewed me told me that the pay would be $6.25 an hour. I couldn't help but utter that that was so very low. Then I wondered how much fruit could you cut in a 40 hour week? How much cut fruit do the consumers in Willis actually need?
I had applied online with Kroger a few weeks ago and was surprised that they were running a job fair and I had not been contacted about any open postions. How does this online thing work?
I lost my job a few months ago and after doing about a thousand online apps and only getting 8 interviews I am getting kind of desperate for some income.
Its been five years since I have been out of work and have been more than a little upset at having to apply for jobs online. You get no response from most protential employers. I have a decent background and worked in an office clerical position for the county for the past five years. I don't get it.
In TN, for non-management workers, you start at 7.10, but it is supposed to go up to 7.25 an hour (yay unions!). After 3 years-and I'm full time, I make 11.10, 2 weeks paid vacation, 3 paid personal holidays, and medical, vision, and dental. There is also things like 401k, stock options, etc., plus union.
I am a cashier and i run the USCAN (self checkout). I have been working for Kroger since March of 2010 and I started out at 7.00 an hour, i transfered to a different store in August of 2010 for college and I got a pay raise to 7.50 an hour, then in September of 2010 i got a pay raise to 7.70 an hour and now next month(March of 2011) since it will be my 1 year of working for Kroger, i will be getting another pay raise to probably 7.90 or 8.00 an hour.
Mostly local / State minimum wage unless you're talking about management positions.
7.45. Unless you are under 18. Then it is 7.30
i get paid 7.70 an hour, but i get a pay raise next month to probably about 7.90 an hour.

There is no standard rate of pay at Kroger's in Texas. The pay rate is determined by the position and your experience.
When is kroger pay day
Maybe a better way to ask would be: Many companies agree to pay -part of- school tuition for their employees. What is Kroger Pharmacy's contract? What does it entail for the employee/recipient? How much money will they pay/reimburse?
print employee pay stubs
Kroger is currently worth $19.1 billion dollars. Kroger is a grocery store chain that was founded in 1883 by Bernard Henry Kroger.
