The price of cannabis can vary quite dramatically depending of the quality, where it was produced, the quantity bought, where you are located and the greed of the dealer.

In Amsterdam weed costs €4 - 11 per gram and hash €4.50 - 13 per gram, depending on the variety and the shop. Those that are aimed at tourists typically charge more.

An eighth of weed costs from $25 for low quality "dirt weed" to $40 for an eighth of good quality cannabis but the price can be double this in some places.
