How much does the average horse-related farm manager make in salary? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Horse related farm managers do not generally make a significant amount of money, and are not really in it for the money. Most farms will give the managers a place to stay on the farm, and possibly free board for a horse if the manager has one. In terms of salary, the average is probably around $20,000. Some people get paid less if they are just starting out or have other benefits. Others get paid more if they have been at a particular farm for a long time or are really qualified for the position (have a lot of experience or training with horses).
Like I mentioned before, most horse farm managers are not usually in it for the money, but love horses & working around them. As long as the managers have a roof over their heads, food on the table, and are working with horses they are happy!
If you get into a good place you are considered part of the family. It's a lot of fun, and best of all you would be doing something you love!
