The answer is entirely dependent upon the layout of your home, and how far away the nearest gas line is from where your stove is. You're going to have to pay a plumber with a gas ticket to do the work, probably a per-hour rate. They'll need to shut your gas off, 'T' off the existing pipe and run a line to your stove. The amount of time it takes will also be dependent on whether they're working in a finished space or whether maybe your basement is unfinished. Easy access = less time = lower installation cost.

Call in a couple of plumbers to give you quotes.

How much does it cost to switch gas dryer hookup to electric hookup?

It depends on what kind of dryer you are going to put in though I recommend to put in a 110 dryer so there will be no need for a contractor as the outlet for your washer is usually rated to supply enough amps for both appliances.

How much did an old stove cost?

Depends on the stove, the kind of stove, and when. Do you mean a wood burning kitchen range from 1900 or a heating stove from 1940, or an electric range from 1960? Parts of the early Sears catalogs are available on line, and you can look at the price of things from around 1902.

Is it expensive to change from electric stove to gas stove?

You have a gas stove and want to convert that stove into an electric stove? Maybe it could be done, but at what cost to you?Disconnecting the gas pipes and installing new electric elements, and changing all the wires on a stove that was made to run on gas would prove to be VERY expensive. In fact it is not a good idea because it would cost you much less to buy a good secondhand or new electric stove AND have the right wiring installed to power it.If you really want to use an electric stove, first call a licensed gas fitter to remove the existing gas stove and make the gas pipe safe. Then call a licensed electrician to install a new power circuit for you, with the right size circuit breakers, the right size wiring and a new outlet to power an electric stove.Any field wiring changes to equipment or appliances will void the Underwriters Laboratory and CSA seal of approved equipment. Connection of this type of modified equipment has been known to null and void insurance policies .

How much would a heating stove installation typically cost?

A survey of prices on new appliances shows that oven ranges can cost between $300 and $1200 in the United States. Variables that affect price are the options between gas and electric power, number of burners, and brand.(Of course, used appliances may be found for less, and a consumer can always find high-end products that will top out an extravagent budget.)
