∙ 10y agoAs a main dish 4 hungry people per pound of pasta will be more than enough. If it's a side you could do 6-8 pounds per person. I do a spaghetti feed for 300 and we do 60 pounds as a main and I do a crab feed for five hundred and we do 60 pounds as a side for example. So for 225 I'd do 45-50 for main and 35-40 for a side. Penne is the easiest to cook for large quantities for sure.
