It depends on the truck and the state. The states that will not go over 80,000lbs the trucks will only hold between 8200 to 8900 gallons in separate compartments. In other states like NV, UT, OR, WA, and some others allow what we call super tankers and you can load anywhere from 12,000 to 14,000 galoons. It's hard to say exactly what amount can be hauled because some trucks will weigh lighter than others.
