If your 1971 coin is a uncirculated example it may be worth about $5.00 because the 1971 & 1972 issue coins were not included in the Uncirculated Mint sets sold from the Mint in those years, but in general none of the Eisenhower dollars regardless of date or mintmark struck for general circulation contain any silver or have more than face value. Only proof and uncirculated collectors coins sold from the Mint have premiums
A dollar is worth 100 cents.
The coin is a Eisenhower dollar (1971-1978) not a " Liberty Head" dollar. The coin is face value, unless it's proof coin.
1971 dated halves are still in circulation today. The coin is made of copper-nickel, not silver, and is only worth face value.
$1 to $4500 depending upon the mint mark and the condition of the coin.
Eisenhower dollar coins were not struck until 1971, if you look at the back of the coin you will see the words HALF DOLLAR. The coin is a Franklin Half dollar and is valued at $4.50

If you mean 1 dollar coin, 1971 is not very old and I don't think it is silver, so probably only worth one dollar, unless it is a really perfect uncirculated coin and then maybe only 2 dollars.

What you presumably have is a James Buchanan presidential dollar coin. It was minted in 2010 and is worth one dollar.
The bicentennial dollar coin is still worth one dollar.
If it's not proof or a very high mint state coin, it's face value
