The "M" is not a mint mark, it's the monogram of the designer H. A. MacNiel. All 1925 quarters were struck in Philadelphia so they do not have mint marks. Other years may have a D or S near the date.

Depending on wear, your quarter might retail for $5 to $18.

The value is 11 dollars to 97 dollars depending on the grade. Most of the value is due to the silver content of this coin.

actually if is 80% silver it would be 2.50 $ but if it is 50% silver it is 1.50 $
