I recently had mine replaced on a 1996 Deville. The motor was $238.00 and labor was $97.00 ($335.00 + tx). I went to a local a/c shop 1st and was quoted $500.00 for the same thing. It pays to shop around.

Why would the ABS and heater blower fuse keep blowing out?

WEll, Since the ABS isn't as wire intensive as the blower motor and the blower motor is constantly turning, my first inclination woule be to disconnect the blower motor assuming a shorted out motor. This should be much easier than tampering with the ABS and much less detrimental if that isn't the problem.

Why does the heater fan in your 1992 Ford truck only work on high?

by the blower motor there is a resistor connection, you will find it melted the blower motor is bad. it draws to much power causing the connection to get hot and melt and burn. you will have to change the connector and the blower motor. the blower is still working but its drawing to much power, the motor windings are shorted out inside. disconnect the connector from the resistor and you will see it.

How do you replace the blower motor on 01 Chevy Malibu?

remove panel under glove box. slide bcm to one side. ( it is much easier if glove box is removed ). remove 3 screws from blower housing. pull the blower motor and fan straight down. disconnect the blower motor electrical connection, if you are replacing blower motor with a new one, use old blower fan from old one.

Where is the heater blower motor located and how do you remove it on 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham RWD?

I also had a hard time finding the blower motor on my 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 4 door. In my case it was located under the dash clear to the right side on the passenger side (if you are sitting in the passenger seat it would be directly above your right foot). To be super carefull you should disconnect the battery first. Next remove the plastic cover under the entire dash (see photos provided below) I think it is a 9/32 to remove the cover. You can now see the blower motor, there are three 7-32nd hex head screws holding the blower motor in place, also unplug the power harness to the blower motor. It was easy to remove and re-install. In my case it was a loose wire, you might want to check that first. Be carefull, if you remove the blower motor and leave it plugged into the power it might start spinning in your hand if it is a loose wire problem. I spent so much time researching on the net the location of this 1995 Cadillac blower motor that I thought I could help someone else in the future if I took pictures of the whole procedure. I put the pics here: http://www.amesweb.com/pics/Replacing_Blower_Motor_1995_Cadillac_Fleetwood_Brougham/index.html Here is the forum that I originally posted my question and answer: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/rwd-19xx-1985-deville-fleetwood-1985/63498-blower-motor-location-95-fleetwood.html?highlight=blower+motor+fleetwood Ed.

Where is the 1997 Grand Prix blower motor resistor?

It's on the passenger side of the car.Behind the glovebox, you will have to take the glovebox off the dash.then you will have to lay on the floor on your back, looking upward by the firewall you will see the blower motor.look behind the blower motor you will see a wire harness conected to the blower motor.Thats the resistor, after you un hook it from the blower motor you will have to take the blower motor out. It's held in by three screws, once you have taken the blower motor out, follow the wire harness that you've taken off the blower motor.you will then see the resistor with much effort its easy to get out,it's held in with two screws, you will only take one screw out to get the resistor out.
