How much is a Fabrege egg with built in music box bought from Franklin Mint in 1988 worth? |
Answer
Now, if you are certain that it is a real fabrege egg, than it should be worth between $4,000 to $75,000.
Answer
Well if it was bought from Franklin Mint, it wasn't made by Fabrige and all the jewels are probably glass. There are value guides for all kinds of FM products but if you're buying, "it's gone up since this was published" and if you're selling, "these prices are unrealistic, no one pays that much".
Answer
I would suggest that you contact an appraiser. What you are referring to are eggs made by the House of Fabrege and sold through FM. In 1988 they would have been about 4K. The jewels on these are not glass. I have seen one sell for about 7K a couple of months ago.
