There are no standard tuition and fee rates for colleges and universities. Each institution will have rates particular to itself. There are a number of variables to consider to include whether the institution is public or private, the geographical location, the specific program of study (some of which have greater course and/or clinical fees), and whether the school is a two year or four year institution. Once you collect the names of some colleges and universities you have an interest in, you can then research the cost specific to those institutions.

Pretty high, but look into colleges like Excelsior College, Thomas Edison State College, or Charter Oak, regionally accreditted and you can transfer in a lot of CLEP and DSST credits. Google 'CLEP' and google 'DSST". You can get 3 college credits for like $100 if you pass an exam. Many regular state colleges allow you to transfer CLEPS in as well. Check with your college and you might be able to save thousands.

A lot. It really depends on the school, though. Just go to a school you're interested in, and look up the "tuition and costs" in admissions, and the school will tell you it's yearly rate, or perhaps by the semester. If you want to take less than full-time (usually 12 credit hours), you will probably have to pay by the credit hour. I go to Penn State, and it's around $23,000/ year for everything including houses. Tuition is about $13,000 here, I think. Good luck on your education, and make sure you keep the loans down!

Prices vary according to the institution, whether starting out at a community college then transferring to the four year institution, whether a private or public institution, location, specific program of study etc. You really have to decide on your specific career goals and objectives, finding the institutions that will meet your needs, then looking at the tuition and fee requirements. In some programs of study, the tuition is sometimes not so much the issue as it is the fees that are attached to that program. In other words, there are some programs within the health related fields where the clinical fees are very expensive. So, you have to make sure you are getting full disclosure on what the total cost will be. Thus, look at the tuition, cost of all fees to include course fees, technology fees, registration fees, clinical fees, cost of books (can be quite expensive), parking fees, room and board (if living on campus), transportation cost, insurances, etc.

That depends completely on the university you choose to attend. A bachelor's degree is typically 120 academic hours. Universities charge by the academic hour. If the university you choose charges $400 per hour, a bachelor's degree will cost $48,000. Keep in mind, however, that does NOT include lab fees, books, room & board. Good Luck.

$70,000 for BA in Psychology.

Tuition and fees for certain western public land grant schools (for state residents) can run as little as $1000 per year. A bachelor's degree is a four year degree, so that would be $4000, not including books and fees.

The average cost for a college education is about $24,000 per year [in 2012], so about $100,000. Some eastern schools run over $55,000 per year, or about $220,000.

A few exceptional students may qualify for full ride (four year) academic scholarships. There are also Pell Grants, stipends, and other financial aid for some students to help defray some of these expenses. And really good students might be able to complete their degree in three years.

Is a commercial Pilot License equivalent to a bachelors degree?

Not really. A pilot's license says you know how to fly a plane. A bachelors degree says you know how to study and have a fairly well-rounded education outside of your specialty. A commercial pilot license is needed to get a job as a pilot, and the cost of getting one on your own is as much as (or more than) the cost of getting a Bachelors' degree and takes several years. Airlines might require a college degree in addition to a pilot's license. To be a military pilot, you have to be an officer. To get accepted to OCS (officer candidate school) you have to have a bachelor's degree already.
