nothing ,why would people want to buy a letter from a criminal!?

The value would depend on the inmate. Collectors would pay for Charles Manson or Richard Kuklinski, Jeffrey Dahmer Ted Bundy and almost any other famous inmate as long as the item was signed by the famous person and it would be great if it referenced the prison or the crime committed. Imagine a collection of Godfather cards from Al Capone to Jhn Gotti. David mark Chapman the guy who shot John Lennon might be really valuable to a Beatles collector or a guy with a macabre collection of Autographs.
